House Guide
Tap any card for quick guidance on how things work around the home.
The kitchen is stocked for everyday cooking with pots, pans, sharp knives, mixing bowls, sheet trays, oil, salt, and pepper. Please avoid metal utensils on nonstick pans to keep everything in great condition.
You’ll find both a drip machine and a pod option. We try to keep coffee filters stock but you'll need to supply your own coffee.
Dishwasher pods are stored under the sink. Please rinse heavily soiled items before putting in the dishwasher. Note, we do not have a garbage disposal so please discard of food scraps in the trash.
Laundry is available for guest use with a small starter supply of detergent. The dryer can be a bit slow so I would avoid big loads or drying a lot of towels at once.
TVs are ready for streaming with your own streaming logins. They are in guest mode so it will ask for your check-out date and automatically log you out on that day.
The thermostat is in the upstairs hallway. It tends to be cooler in the bedrooms and living areas than the thermostat says.
We keep some beach gear in the garage that you're welcome to use (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach wagon, toys). We just ask that you clean them off after use. We have a hose, broom and leaf blower in the garage to make clean up easy!
Bagged trash should be taken out to the dumpster on 70th street. If you go out the front door, make a right and then a left and you should see the dumpter.
Please keep quiet hours after 10:00 PM, respect the neighbors, and avoid parties or unregistered guests. The home is smoke-free, and sandy or wet items should stay near the entry until dry.
